Joining UCLA as Assistant Professor in Bioengineering
Yosuke Tanigawa joined UCLA as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioengineering in July 2025.
The lab studies disease heterogeneity from computational and statistical perspectives. We work to understand why individuals differ in disease onset, progression, and treatment response.
Before joining UCLA, Yosuke trained at the MIT Computational Biology Lab with Manolis Kellis. He completed his PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University, where he worked with Manuel Rivas and Gill Bejerano.
