Ashley is a third-year undergraduate student in the Department of Bioengineering working under Dr. Tanigawa. Her previous research experience is in medical imaging, where she developed a low-cost volumetric ultrasound reconstruction pipeline and visualization tool for potential clinical application using an optical tracking system and handheld ultrasound probe. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, ballet, and trying new cafes in Los Angeles.
