Alfred Kibowen

Alfred is a first-year Ph.D. student in the UCLA Human Genetics Program. He rotated in the Tanigawa Lab in Winter 2026, where his rotation project investigated cross-ancestry genetic prediction and statistical approaches for improving polygenic scores across diverse ancestral populations.
